This book tells that tale of an educated Spanish boy who has a desire to travel so he becomes a shepard. One night he has a dream about a treasure near the pyramids in Egypt. He decides to follow is dream and this book tells the tale of his journey and all of his lessons learned along the way.
This book is absolutely timeless and is amazingly well written-- the imagery is simply superb.
It was nearly impossible for me to to put this book down. (I even tried reading in the dark.)
This is probably the best book I have read in a very long while, and it is suitable for people of all ages. I HIGHLY recommend it!
